In recent years, the security industry has developed very rapidly, and began to transfer from the traditional analog way to the new digital way, and new technology has been continuously applied and developed. Combined with the wireless module of our company, aiming at the PTZ control part of the security industry, we put forward the transformation plan for reference.

The PTZ mainly controls the camera's steering, depth of field, focal length, etc. Some high-grade or special PTZ will also provide wipers, lighting and other functions. The head is separated from the camera in function, and can be separated or integrated in structure. The head of the ball type is mostly integrated, and the wall mounted type is generally separated. But no matter what kind of structure, in the way of communication are RS232 or RS485. For close distance control and debugging installation, these two ways are suitable, but the distance is more than 100m to RS232 transmission limit, more than 1200m to RS485 transmission limit. When the transmission limit is exceeded, the processing method of repeater or converter head is generally adopted, and the cost will increase to a certain extent. Wiring is also complicated, and reasonable wiring by professionals is required to work well. Moreover, with the increase of distance, transmission delay will increase accordingly.

There are some problems in using repeater, but using wireless module can solve these problems and bring more advantages, so it is possible to use wireless data transmission module for transformation.
